My listeners asked me to make an extended version of Figur 5. The original is 2:42 min long. But it sets in loop perfectly. The new extended version is dj friendly. It has intro and outro for easy mixing. Also I added an extra breakdown with sounds of my polivoks synthesizer. Figur 5 is 130 bpm breaks electronica with energetic drums and powerful bass synth. I played a lot with FX around the bass. The track is full of rhythmic textures which were created by experimenting with FX (I used cableguys ShaperBox2, output Thermal & Portal). Gated female vocals brings the atmosphere of Bicep music. Glitchy brokenbeat groove reminds me Tom VR style. Distorted pads gives tension like Max Cooper. These artists influenced me a lot. Also EP includes extended versions of Figur 3,7 & 8. They are all united by brokenbeat groove & unique textures (recorded sounds of my time-travel adventures).

Figur 8 is a story of overcoming. I added vocal "Let me out" which resonates with my inner voice and with my desire to get out of the current life situation. I used recorded sounds of flapping wings as one of the layers of textures . Wings are the symbol of freedom for me. At the beginning it seems the bird is locked up, but in the middle of the track there is a hope that it will be able to fly away. It just need one more effort. Energetic electronic groove of this track shows strength of character and perseverance. Orchestral instruments are responsible for the emotional component (experiences, hope, faith). I mixed them together and got a real life story about ups and down. I have the same feelings when I'm listening to music by Floex, Max Cooper, Tom Hodge.

The idea of Figur 3 came up on a train in 1940. I enjoyed how sounds of rail crossing, coupling of wagons create interesting patterns and textures. So I recorded them and used in my new music research.
